How to treat chronic gastritis? Diet therapy and medical treatment

Chronic gastritis is mainly caused by bacteria in the stomach and intestines. Because the intestinal bacteria in the body cannot achieve a balance, problems with the digestive system occur, and symptoms such as constant burping, stomach acid, and vomiting occur after stomach bloating. Generally speaking, the treatment of chronic gastritis mainly focuses on nourishment. Medicines must be taken, but there are also many things to pay attention to in diet.

1. Promote gastrointestinal motility

The intestines have normal movements, and these movements determine the function of the digestive system. Gastric motility is the core of gastrointestinal movement, and it is very important to improve the patient's gastric motility. First of all, you should not consume foods that are too high in calories, and you must eat breakfast. Secreting gastric acid on an empty stomach is very detrimental to gastric motility.

2. Eliminate Helicobacter pylori

The bacteria that causes gastroenteritis is Helicobacter pylori, which can cause various stomach diseases, such as gastric ulcers and duodenitis. Currently, general drugs are not very effective in treating this bacteria, so better treatment methods must be used to eliminate the bacteria in the stomach in order to completely cure gastroenteritis.

3. Diet to regulate stomach acidity

Many gastritis patients often drink yogurt. In fact, this is inappropriate, because the gastrointestinal flora of gastritis patients is unbalanced, and drinking a lot of yogurt will only make gastritis more and more serious. It is necessary to eat some foods that neutralize stomach acid under the doctor's advice.

4. Repair gastric mucosa

Generally, the gastric mucosa of gastritis patients will be damaged. Bad living habits such as frequent alternation of hot and cold food or drinking will directly lead to damage to the mucosa, and then cause a series of stomach problems. During treatment, you need to take some drugs to repair the mucous membrane.

5. Diet

Patients with gastritis cannot consume greasy, spicy and irritating foods. They can eat more yam, beans, grapes, potatoes, etc. Based on good digestion, eat more fruits, vegetables and fruits. Usually, you should eat more whole grains to improve the stability of your stomach and intestines, such as bean porridge, vegetable porridge, etc., to protect your stomach. Patients with gastritis must eat a light diet and drink more soup, with the soup containing less oil.
