1. Causes

Low humidity, dry air, and certain irritants such as tar and grease may also cause this disease.

2. Nursing methods

1. A relatively gentle way to exfoliate is to take a bath with bath salts (table salt also has an exfoliating effect, but the sodium in it will dry the skin. People with "chicken skin" should use Dead Sea bath salts with moisturizing effects.) You can also dissolve the bath salts in hot water first, and then mix them with plant-based shower gel (shower gel with more chemical agents will react chemically with bath salts) and use it in the shower. When taking a bath with bath salts, you can also add rose and sandalwood essential oils to exfoliate and moisturize the skin.

2. Supplement more vitamin A. Supplementing vitamin A through diet has a certain effect. People with goose bumps can eat more carrots, cod liver oil, animal liver or vitamin A oral tablets.

3. The key to improving chicken skin is persistence. No matter spring, summer, autumn or winter, use body lotion to nourish your skin after taking a bath. Don't be a "lazy woman", and your skin will become more beautiful.

4. Many people think that taking a bath every day is a good habit, but it is not good for "chicken skin". Shower gel can also remove dead skin cells to a certain extent, but bathing can also wash away the protective oils on the skin, making the skin drier. Therefore, people with "chicken skin" only need to take a bath once every 2 or 3 days in winter, or take a bath with just clean water every day without using shower gel.

3. Precautions: "Chicken skin" will make people want to "get rid of it as soon as possible", but squeezing, scratching, and picking with hands will cause edema of the tissues around the pores, so that the pore openings become smaller and more easily clogged, causing acne and folliculitis; if scratched, it will cause inflammation and pigmentation.
