People should be very familiar with headaches. There are many reasons for headaches, which may be brain nerve pain, headaches caused by colds, and so on. Headaches can be divided into several different situations. Some are headaches, some are scalp pains, and some are pains when pressing the top of the head. No matter which one it is, people need to understand the cause and then take measures to treat it. Here I will introduce what pain is when pressing the top of the head. Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage and is a subjective sensation. Pain can serve as a warning to the body that it is being harmed, triggering a series of defensive protective responses. Headache is a common subjective symptom in clinical practice, which is mostly caused by external or internal injuries. Modern medicine is often considered to be closely related to internal medicine, surgery, neurology, psychiatry and ENT. Headache mainly occurs at the top of the head, with symptoms such as distension and empty pain, often accompanied by dizziness, vertigo, memory loss and other symptoms. The head is the "meeting place of all yang", and the three yang meridians and three yin meridians are distributed in the head. As Lenglu Medical Talks: Headache says: "Headaches that belong to the Taiyang meridian spread from the back of the head to the top of the head, and the disease extends to the top of the head." Headache is often related to dysfunction of the liver, kidneys and internal organs, or due to yin deficiency or yang hyperactivity, phlegm and turbidity blocking the orifices, resulting in the inability of clear yang (blood oxygen) to be transported to the brain orifices, or excessive (high blood pressure), leading to symptoms such as headache. In terms of diagnosis, the focus of medical history is on: the nature, timing, causes, prodromal symptoms and other accompanying symptoms of the headache, which are the key to guiding clinical treatment. 1. Acupuncture treatment: Baihui, Taixi, Taichong, Hegu, Houxi Acupuncture operations often use acupuncture to nourish the liver and kidneys or moxibustion, or pricking and bloodletting at the Baihui acupoint, or both. Many patients with headaches have been treated clinically, and the results are always satisfactory. 2. Manual treatment Through manipulation techniques, pressure is applied, loosened, pulled, and massaged to the galea aponeurotica under the scalp to increase blood circulation, fine-tune the cervical spine joints, and eliminate stimulation or compression of the ascending nerves and blood vessels of the head and neck, thereby alleviating pain and accompanying symptoms. Patients who are anxious, nervous or depressed should be given spiritual guidance and comfort to help them eliminate their worries. |
