Summer is synonymous with heat, and it is also the time when the outside temperature is relatively high. People often find that their body surface temperature is higher than usual after being exposed to the sun. At this time, many people will wonder, since the outside temperature is so high, will my body temperature also be affected? Here, let me give you some basic knowledge about what basal body temperature is? Will the basal body temperature change in summer? How to measure?
1. Measure your body temperature with an oral temperature meter every morning after waking up, without getting up, preferably at the same time. Generally speaking, the body temperature is always around 36.5 before ovulation. The body temperature drops slightly during ovulation. After ovulation, the temperature rises to around 37 degrees, with an average increase of about 0.5 degrees, and continues until the next menstruation, and then returns to the original body temperature level. 2. If you measure your basal body temperature for three consecutive menstrual cycles, you can estimate the ovulation date more accurately. In addition, the body temperature measured every day should be recorded on a form to observe changes in body temperature at any time. 3. Under normal circumstances, the secretion of cervical mucus is only affected by the cyclical effects of ovarian hormones. After the menstrual period, the ovaries secrete the lowest level of estrogen. At this time, the cervical mucus is less and more viscous, contains fewer nutrients, and contains a large number of white blood cells. Before ovulation, the estrogen level in the body increases, and the cervical mucus becomes very thin, clear and transparent like egg white, and the amount also increases, containing nutrients such as sugar, vitamins and salts. It can supply the energy needed by sperm, maintain sperm activity, and help sperm continue to move forward and upward. In the late ovulation period, the cervical mucus becomes viscous again under the influence of progesterone, the nutrients are reduced, and it is difficult for sperm to pass through. Therefore, during ovulation, sperm can most easily pass through the cervix, while it is more difficult for sperm to pass through at other times. |
