How to relieve chest tightness and shortness of breath in hot weather 1. Massaging the Neiguan point can help relieve your mood. When you turn your palm upward, you can see two tendons in the middle of your palm. The middle of the two tendons is where the Neiguan point is located. Neiguan acupoint is an important acupuncture point for heart health. It has the effect of regulating qi and relieving pain. Therefore, when you feel chest tightness and shortness of breath, it can temporarily help you regulate your breath and calm your mind. 2. There is an acupoint on the hand called Laogong, which is an acupoint on the hand Jueyin pericardium meridian. Laogong has the effect of clearing the heart and calming the mind.
