Transparent sticky liquid in female genitals

Transparent sticky liquid in female genitals

Most women pay special attention to the condition of their lower body, because many women suffer from gynecological diseases due to neglect of their lower body. Many women find that a transparent, sticky liquid flows out of their vagina for a few days every month. This sticky liquid is different from normal vaginal discharge. Is it normal for women to have clear, sticky fluid flowing out of their vagina?

Every month, there is clear, snot-like liquid for 2-3 days in the middle of the menstrual cycle. This is a change in leucorrhea before ovulation. It is normal and not a disease, so no treatment is required. Normal leucorrhea should be milky white, or colorless and transparent, sometimes sticky, and have no odor. Leucorrhea during adolescence is affected by estrogen and has periodic changes, that is, sometimes it increases and sometimes decreases. The leucorrhea during ovulation is transparent and the amount is large, while the amount is small at other times.

Ovulation symptoms, which are also the most obvious manifestation of ovulation for women, are changes in vaginal secretions. In the first half of the menstrual cycle, the vaginal secretions are less, sticky and opaque; as the ovulation period approaches, the vaginal secretions gradually increase and become thin and milky white; during the ovulation period, the amount of secretions increases significantly and becomes watery, transparent and clear. Women will feel their genitals are wet and slippery, and there will be egg white-like strips of mucus when wiping with toilet paper.

The leucorrhea will change with the menstrual cycle. It is less and white and sticky when the menstruation just ends. In the middle of the menstrual cycle, that is, before ovulation, it changes to a transparent state like snot. Before menstruation, the amount of leucorrhea increases and becomes white and powdery.

The transparent liquid that flows out of the vagina during sexual intercourse is body fluid and also a lubricant secreted when a woman is excited. This situation only occurs when a woman is sexually excited and is a normal physiological phenomenon.

If the increase in secretions occurs during ovulation, it is generally a physiological phenomenon. However, if there are symptoms, you should consider the possibility of vaginitis. The latter requires medical examination and laboratory testing of leucorrhea to determine what pathogen is causing the infection so that specific guidance on how to treat it can be provided.
