Is it useful to fumigate vinegar for pregnant women with colds?

When we were young and lived in a bungalow, we would make a fire when the weather was cold. The fire in the firepit could make the house very warm. Parents will choose to pour some vinegar on the stove cover and let the vinegar heat and evaporate. At this time, the whole house will have a sour smell. This is what is called fumigation with vinegar, which is a traditional method that can effectively kill bacteria. So, for pregnant women with special physical conditions, can they also use vinegar after catching a cold?

This vinegar fumigation can kill some indoor germs, but it cannot drive away the germs in your body, so you can drink more water or take some Isatis root. These will not affect the fetus. I suggest you boil some ginger juice and brown sugar water, drink it while it's hot, then sleep in bed and sweat it out. This method is more effective than that one.

1. Apple honey water: Peel 5 apples, cut into small pieces, add 1 liter of water, boil for 5 minutes, cool naturally to about 40°C, add appropriate amount of honey and stir evenly, drink in small amounts several times a day. 2. Shredded ginger and radish soup: 25 grams of shredded ginger, 50 grams of sliced radish, add 500 ml of water, cook for 15 minutes, add appropriate amount of brown sugar, and drink while hot. 3. Onion and garlic porridge: Take 10 clean scallions, chop them, 3 cloves of garlic, 50 grams of rice, add water and cook into porridge, drink it while hot. 4. Cabbage and scallion root soup: Wash and chop 3 cabbage hearts, 6 scallion roots, boil 1 bowl of soup, add appropriate amount of brown sugar, and drink it while hot. 5. Chicken soup: Wash and clean a tender chicken, add water and boil it. Add seasonings (pepper, ginger, chopped green onion) to the chicken soup when eating, or use it to make noodles. It can relieve nasal congestion and runny nose symptoms during colds and enhance the body's resistance. 6. Radish soup: Wash and slice 150 grams of white radish, add 900 ml of water, boil until 600 ml, add 5 grams of sugar, drink one cup while hot, and then drink another cup after half an hour.

How to treat colds in pregnant women

Method 1: Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively control the cold virus and is non-toxic. Therefore, Chinese medicine's syndrome differentiation and treatment and Chinese medicine prescriptions are the best ways to treat colds in pregnant women. Pregnant women with colds can take Chinese medicine under the guidance of a doctor.

Method 2: For those with severe colds and high fever, in addition to general treatment, body temperature should be controlled as quickly as possible. Physical cooling methods can be used, such as placing ice cubes on the forehead and neck; you can also choose to use medication to reduce temperature. Never take western medicines such as Analgin that have serious side effects. When choosing antipyretic analgesics, avoid using drugs that have obvious adverse effects on pregnant women, fetuses and newborns, such as aspirin. Antipyretic analgesics such as acetaminophen can be used under the guidance of a doctor.

Method three: You can also use folk remedies, such as using a small handful of raw mung beans. Three sections of green onion (close to the root). Three large slices of ginger. One tablespoon of brown sugar. A bowl of water. Preparation method: ① Put the mung beans into a garlic mortar and mash them, put them into a large covered cup, and add a spoonful of brown sugar for later use. ② Add a bowl of water to the pot, bring it to a boil, put in the scallion and ginger slices and cook for a while (one or two minutes), pour the soup and ingredients into a covered cup, cover it with a lid and simmer for a while, then take out the scallion and ginger and serve. Directions: Before going to bed at night, drink the prepared sweet and spicy soup while it is hot, and then cover your head to sleep. Until you sweat all over.
