Cervical lymphadenitis

Cervical lymphadenitis

If you want to understand cervical lymphadenitis, you must first know what lymph is. Lymph is a colorless and transparent liquid in the human and animal bodies. It plays a vital role in the human immune system and exists in various parts of the human body. When the lymph nodes in the neck are infected by bacteria, it turns into cervical lymphadenitis. People with low resistance due to long-term malnutrition, anemia, etc. are prone to cervical lymphadenitis.

The symptoms of cervical lymphadenitis are: in the early stages of the disease, there is neck pain and some spherical lumps, which are hard and painful when pressed, and are about 2 cm in diameter. A few days later, I started to have a fever, usually around 39 degrees, and it was intermittent. Cervical lymphadenitis must be treated early, otherwise if the lesions spread to other parts of the body, systemic lymph node lesions will occur.

After discovering the above symptoms, you must go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible. After the diagnosis is confirmed, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory treatment is needed, and penicillin infusion treatment can be used. During treatment, patients should drink plenty of fluids, which will help with the treatment. You should also be very careful about your diet. Never drink alcohol or eat raw, cold or spicy food. Also, you should keep warm to avoid catching a cold.

It is not scary to have cervical lymphadenitis. You must pay attention to rest, strengthen physical exercise to enhance resistance, have a positive and optimistic attitude, eat more vegetables and fruits, and seek medical attention in time if swelling occurs. Drain it through surgery as soon as possible. Do not hide your illness and avoid medical treatment, otherwise it may turn into systemic poisoning, in which case you will need systemic therapy or even blood transfusion therapy.

Another very important point is to eat more foods containing crude fiber, which can help smooth the gastrointestinal defecation function and excrete toxins from the body. You must have confidence, actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment, and with a reasonable diet, a good attitude, and increased physical exercise to improve your resistance, you will be able to overcome cervical lymphadenitis quickly.
