Things to note about bone hyperplasia

Things to note about bone hyperplasia

Most young people today live with their grandparents, hoping that they can have a good body. This also reflects their filial piety. However, there is an inevitable problem that the elders often have physical problems when they get old. For example, a common bone hyperplasia accompanies the elderly for the rest of their lives. They often suffer from unbearable pain but can do nothing about it.

At this time, family members should think of a solution. In fact, physical therapy and food therapy can be used to help the elders reduce the burden on their bodies. Physical therapy means that the elders should not do heavy work, should do appropriate physical exercise, and avoid strenuous exercise. Food therapy means that in terms of diet, they should eat more calcium supplements.

Note:

1. When pain worsens during the acute phase, try to reduce the activity of the affected joints. Patients can rest in bed appropriately to reduce the mechanical stimulation of the affected joints. This not only effectively prevents further aggravation of symptoms, but also creates good conditions for the dissipation of inflammation. Take medication as soon as possible and use a combination of oral and topical medications to control the progression of the disease.

2. The elderly should eat in moderation, maintain a proper weight and avoid obesity. Clinically, it has been found that obese patients generally have bone hyperplasia in the knee joints, and their treatment time is longer and their recovery is slower than those with similar conditions but normal weight. The reason is simple. The weight of obese patients increases the burden on the knee joints, causing greater wear and damage to the joints. A balanced diet and maintaining body weight are important parts of preventing bone hyperplasia.

3. During the recovery period, you should avoid being exposed to moisture, cold and other environmental factors, as these adverse environmental factors can induce inflammation of joints, muscles, nerves and other tissues. You should also avoid excessive fatigue, as overwork can stimulate inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues, leading to recurrence of the disease. In addition, you can increase outdoor activities and exercise appropriately, and try to avoid long-term bed rest. Patients who work in a fixed posture for a long time should pay attention to changing their posture during breaks.

4. Eat a balanced diet and consume more foods rich in antioxidants, such as mango, papaya, melon, grapes, oranges, pineapples, bananas, strawberries, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes, etc. They are rich in vitamins, and bioflavonoids can prevent damage by free radicals, slow down inflammatory reactions, accelerate recovery from sports injuries and strengthen the formation of colloid.

Elderly people with bone hyperplasia do not pay much attention to this problem, and even many teachers will have a laissez-faire attitude and not seek treatment. At this time, family members should pay more attention to it. Giving meticulous care to the elderly is the most basic, and psychological counseling should also be provided to the elderly to help them build up confidence in fighting the disease.
