What are the symptoms of mild IGA nephropathy?

There are always many troublesome problems surrounding us, so we must deal with them well. So what are the symptoms of mild IGA nephropathy?

Paroxysmal gross hematuria: more common in children. Macroscopic hematuria often occurs after upper respiratory tract infection (tonsillitis, etc.), and some also occur after acute gastroenteritis or urinary tract infection, with an interval of 24 to 72 hours. Gross hematuria may last for several hours to several days, and then turn into persistent microscopic hematuria. Hematuria may disappear in some patients, but it often recurs, during which gross hematuria reappears, and may be accompanied by mild systemic symptoms, such as muscle aches, dysuria, back pain, or transient increases in blood pressure and urea nitrogen.

Microscopic hematuria and asymptomatic proteinuria: This is the main clinical manifestation of IgA nephropathy in children and adolescents. It is often found during physical examinations and can be manifested as simple microscopic hematuria, or microscopic hematuria with a small amount of proteinuria. Proteinuria: Mild proteinuria, urine protein quantity is generally <1g/24h. A small number of patients may have heavy proteinuria or even nephrotic syndrome.

Others: Some patients with IgA nephropathy may develop nephrotic syndrome, rapidly progressive nephritic syndrome, renal failure, and a few may experience severe pain in the waist and/or abdomen accompanied by hematuria.

The above are some of the symptoms that experts have predicted after the onset of the disease. We all need to have a correct understanding of these. After we know that the disease has arrived, we must choose a better method to actively carry out comprehensive and effective treatment to prevent the disease from worsening.
