(1) Be careful when brushing your teeth: Brush your teeth thoroughly with a soft-bristled toothbrush; have regular oral examinations and ask your dentist to treat bad teeth and repair damaged dentures in a timely manner.

(2) Keep your mouth clean at all times and have a dental cleaning every six months to a year.

(3) Observe and record which foods are likely to cause oral ulcers, and avoid eating such foods.

(4) Chew slowly and thoroughly.

(5) Increase the intake of fruits and vegetables to supplement a variety of vitamins and minerals.

(6) Avoid eating ground foods such as bread crumbs, corn or potato chips, smoke and drink less, eat less acidic foods such as citrus, tomatoes or nuts, eat less spicy or salty foods, and avoid eating hard, hot foods and chewing gum.

2. Treatment

If you already have oral ulcers, you can rinse your mouth with light salt water or tea to keep your mouth moist, which will help its treatment. The occurrence of oral ulcers is related to estrogen in women's bodies. Once the estrogen level in the body decreases, it is easy to get oral ulcers. Therefore, female friends must pay attention to maintenance, not lose weight excessively, consume enough protein in the daily diet, and regularly eat natural foods that can supplement estrogen, such as soybeans, onions, etc., so as to maintain the normal secretion of estrogen in the body.

3. Predisposing factors

Modern people live a stressful life and have great mental pressure, so oral ulcers are a "civilized disease" caused by their lifestyle. In fact, according to doctors' clinical observations, many patients with oral ulcers develop the disease after excessive fatigue.
