I feel weak and dizzy. What's going on?

If you feel weak and dizzy all over, you should pay attention to it. This shows that your physical constitution is relatively poor and you should strengthen your health. You need to understand the cause of the problem, which includes both physiological reasons and disease reasons, such as poor rest, staying up late, bad mood, etc. There are also many other causes of disease, the more common ones are immune dysfunction, anemia, chronic diseases, etc.

I feel weak and dizzy. What's going on?

1. Immune dysfunction: Many young and middle-aged people will feel physically weak and have difficulty concentrating for a long time. Sometimes, it will also affect appetite and digestive tract function, and may cause constipation or diarrhea. Those with more serious symptoms may also experience palpitations, irritability, anxiety, insomnia, etc. Women are prone to irregular menstruation, and men may suffer from decreased sexual function. This is mainly due to high work pressure, frequent staying up late and irregular life, which in turn causes immune dysfunction, also known as "chronic fatigue syndrome."

2. Anemia

The earliest symptom of anemia is frequent dizziness and physical weakness. This is because anemia patients lack hemoglobin, which in turn weakens the oxygen-carrying capacity of red blood cells. The body's organs are not supplied with enough oxygen, which causes corresponding functional abnormalities. People with anemia usually experience dizziness and lack of energy as well as tinnitus, inattention, rough skin, and lack of luster.

3. Diabetes

Diabetes is the disease that most commonly causes fatigue, which is caused by abnormal sugar metabolism, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Patients will feel tired, weak, have a large increase in food appetite, eat more but become thinner, are easily thirsty, and have frequent urination. Middle-aged and elderly people should pay special attention to this.

4. Abnormal thyroid function

Young women often feel weak all over, accompanied by excessive sweating, palpitations, irritability, fear of heat, excessive sweating, increased food intake but weight loss, etc. These symptoms should be considered as manifestations of hyperthyroidism. In addition, some elderly people feel physical fatigue and even find it difficult to lift their legs. If it is not due to abnormalities in blood pressure, blood sugar, etc., then it may be a manifestation of hypothyroidism.

5. Menopausal syndrome

Menopausal syndrome often occurs in women between the ages of 40 and 55. Women in this age group often feel tired, and also have symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating, irritability, palpitations, insomnia, depression, forgetfulness, or menstrual disorders, which may mean that menopause is approaching.

6. Myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis can occur in people of any age, with female patients being slightly more likely than male patients. The main symptoms are partial or universal skeletal muscle weakness and fatigue. The symptoms worsen after activity and may be alleviated after rest. Due to the patient's neuromuscular conduction disorder, weakness may occur after activity, and the feeling of fatigue is usually lighter in the morning and heavier at night.

7. Qi and blood deficiency

Insufficiency of Qi and blood means both Qi deficiency and blood deficiency, and Qi and blood interact with each other. Qi drives the circulation of blood, and blood can carry Qi, and they nourish each other. If Qi is deficient, blood will be insufficient, and if blood is insufficient, Qi will be deficient. When Qi and blood are deficient, the body will be malnourished, and then the body will show symptoms such as mental depression, fatigue, pale or sallow complexion, shortness of breath, laziness to speak, dizziness, cold and numb limbs, etc. This is also a common problem among women.

8. Chronic nephritis

Patients with chronic nephritis often feel tired and weak. In addition, due to the characteristics of this disease, patients need to reduce their salt intake for a long time, and are prone to potassium deficiency, which makes them more prone to fatigue. In addition, it can also cause insomnia, back pain, etc.
