What to do if the urethra is eroded

I believe everyone has heard of the word erosion. It is common in wound rot, especially in summer. The hot weather will make the wound more prone to rot. But sometimes, it will erode for no reason. There are certain reasons for these results, including urethral erosion. We should pay attention to it. So what should we do if there is urethral erosion?

The urethra is the tube that leads from the bladder to the outside of the body. The male urethra is slender, about 18 cm long, starting from the internal urethral opening of the bladder and ending at the external urethral opening. It passes through the prostate, membranous part and corpus cavernosum of the penis. The male urethra has both urination and ejaculation functions. The female urethra is thick and short, about 5 cm long. It starts from the internal urethra, passes through the front of the vagina, and opens into the vaginal vestibule. The male urethra has a sphincter composed of circular striated muscle in the membranous part of the urethra, called the external urethral sphincter, which is controlled by consciousness. When the female urethra passes through the urogenital diaphragm at the perineum, it is surrounded by the urethrovaginal sphincter, which is a striated muscle and is also controlled by the will.

Glans erosion is one of the symptoms of balanitis. Bag

In the early stages of balanitis, the glans and foreskin surface are edematous and congested, the glans is red, and there are wounds and erosions around the urethral opening. It may develop into a superficial ulcer with purulent secretions. The patient feels redness, itching or burning sensation on the glans, followed by pain. After erosion, pus may flow out and the smell may be foul. Recommendation: Check blood and urine routine before using anti-inflammatory drugs. Then carry out anti-inflammatory treatment for at least half a month. If the effect is not obvious, you can switch to another antibiotic.

If it is candidal balanitis caused by fungal infection, it is often manifested by redness of the glans, erythema of the mucous membrane, local edema, smooth appearance, mild desquamation of the edges, and papules and small pustules that expand to the surrounding area to form glans erosion. Recurrent candidal balanitis can cause foreskin cracking, fibrosis, and sclerotic changes in the glans. Recommendation: In this case, paying attention to local hygiene and not eating spicy food will help improve the condition. Potassium permanganate can be used for cleaning and observation. It is best to use medication and observe in time.

You can apply Meco ointment, wash and dry it every night, then use it once a day for 2 weeks. Avoid spicy food, tobacco and alcohol. Especially wine. If a woman has vaginitis, she should go to a gynecologist for treatment. Otherwise they will infect each other. Pay attention to personal hygiene, wash and dry underwear separately. If you are worried, you can go to a regular hospital to check for syphilis and HIV antibodies. Of course, it doesn't mean that you are definitely cured in this situation. You don't need to.
