How many days can clams survive?

Fill the wash basin with water, pour in about 5 grams of table salt or sea salt, stir evenly, put the clams in, and the amount of water should just cover the clams. Store it in a cool place, or even better if you can put it in the refrigerator

How long can you keep the clams you bought?

It is best to eat them as soon as possible, as they live in different environments and some will die.

The clams bought from the market can actually be eaten directly, but in order to remove the sand in their bodies, it is recommended that you raise them for a while. You can add a few drops of sesame oil and raise them for about an hour!

Clams that died of natural causes are edible, but they will not taste fresh and have a bad texture. Therefore, when selecting, you can pick up the clams and tap them gently.
