Lung Cleansing Tea Recipe

Drinking tea is a habit that many people have in their daily lives. Different types of tea have different effects on the human body. There are many kinds of teas that can moisten the lungs, such as apricot, yin, maidong tea, tremella and lotus seed tea, adenophora and ophiopogon tea, etc. These teas are very good for moisturizing the lungs and are suitable for friends who live in a dusty environment to clear and moisturize the lungs.

1. Apricot, silver and ophiopogon tea

Method: 10g dried Tremella fuciformis (Tremella), 15g southern apricot, 15g Ophiopogon japonicus. First soak the dried Tremella in tap water, then add 2000ml of water with Southern Apricot and Ophiopogon japonicus to boil it into 1000ml and drink it as tea.

Function: Nourishes Yin, moistens the lungs and stomach, and moistens the lungs. It is suitable for people with Yin deficiency, dry mouth, thirst, and poor appetite.

2. Tremella and lotus seed tea

Preparation: 15g Tremella, 30g dried lotus seeds, 30g dried lily, 6 jujubes, 3g old rock sugar, 1500ml water. Soak Tremella and dried lotus seeds in small amounts of water until softened and wash; soak dried lilies in small amounts of warm water until softened. Put the white fungus into the pot, add 1500ml of water and blanch it. After the water boils, simmer for 30 minutes. Add lotus seeds, lilies and jujubes, simmer for 20 minutes, then add rock sugar and cook for 3 minutes.

Function: Nourishes yin and moistens the lungs, strengthens the spleen and treats diarrhea, dry lungs, cough and excessive sputum. Suitable for dry lung, cough with excessive sputum, dry mouth and throat.

3. Adenophora and Radix Ophiopogonis Tea

Preparation method: 8 grams of Northern Adenophora, 6 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus, and 6 grams of mulberry leaves. Put Adenophora Root, Ophiopogon japonicus and mulberry leaves into a cup; pour in boiling water and brew for 8 minutes, then it is ready to be consumed.

Function: Skin care, thirst quenching, nourishing the skin. Northern Adenophora nourishes yin and clears the lungs, benefits the stomach, produces fluid and quenches thirst, can relieve lung heat and dry cough, dry throat and dry mouth, etc., and moisturizes the skin. Ophiopogon japonicus nourishes yin and produces body fluid, moistens the lungs, relieves cough and purifies It is used for dry cough due to lung dryness, dry body fluids, palpitations and insomnia, internal heat and thirst, dry intestines and constipation, etc. It also has a very good nourishing and hydrating effect on the skin.

4. Suye almond tea

Preparation method: 9g of perilla leaves, 6g of sweet almonds, 6g of mulberry leaves, 3g of roasted licorice, 1 slice of ginger, 2 red dates, soak in cold water for half an hour and then boil. After the water boils, simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. It is not suitable to simmer for a long time.

Effects: Perilla leaves are pungent and warm without making noise, and can relieve chest tightness and promote qi circulation; sweet almonds can clear the lungs and relieve coughs, and promote digestion; mulberry leaves can clear lung heat, cool the lungs and relieve coughs; roasted licorice can moisten the lungs, relieve coughs, and reduce phlegm; ginger slices and red dates can harmonize the Ying and Wei systems, and nourish the spleen and promote the circulation of body fluids. This tea has a pleasant aroma, sweet and mellow flavor. It is suitable for people with nasal congestion, cough, dry throat, phlegm, constipation, and irritability in autumn.

5. Honeysuckle and Adenophora Root Tea

Preparation: 15 grams of Adenophora Root, 12 grams of Raw White Peony Root, 9 grams of Honeysuckle, and 5 grams of Raw Licorice. Put this medicine in a thermos, use boiling water to mix most of the bottle, cover the bottle cap and let it sit for 15 minutes, drink it instead of tea, 1 dose per day.

Function: The Radix Adenophorae and Poriae in this prescription are bitter and cold in nature, and can nourish yin and clear the lungs, relieve cough, resolve phlegm and relieve sore throat. Red peony root and licorice can, firstly, transform yin into sour and sweet, and secondly, relieve pain by relieving severity. Therefore, it has significant effect on lung and stomach yin deficiency and dull pain in the chest and abdomen. 6. Sterculia lychnophora licorice tea

Preparation method: 3 pieces of Sterculia lychnophora, 2 cents of licorice, and a small amount of old rock sugar. Rinse the sterculia lychnophora and licorice, put them into a pot with rock sugar, soak them in boiling water, cover and bake for ten minutes, then they are ready to eat.

7. Dendrobium officinale and Ophiopogon japonicus tea

Method: Ingredients: 2 qian each of Dendrobium officinale, lily, and Ophiopogon japonicus, 3 jujubes (peeled), and a small amount of old rock sugar. Put the ingredients into a pot, soak them in boiling water for a while, and then you can drink it.

Function: Dendrobium candidum is sweet and produces cold, nourishes yin and clears heat, benefits the stomach, produces fluid and quenches thirst. Lily is sweet and cold in nature, nourishes yin, clears the lungs, relieves cough and reduces phlegm. Ophiopogon japonicus is sweet and cold, nourishes yin and moistens the lungs. The resulting tea can nourish yin, harmonize the stomach, and relieve depression.
