Symptoms of damp heat in the intestines

In different seasons, people's physical conditions are different and symptoms of disease may occur. Especially some obese people are particularly prone to rebound problems during the weight loss process. It is understood that this condition is often caused by abnormal dampness and heat in the body. For example, if you have an irregular diet in your life, you may easily suffer from constipation or diarrhea. But what should we know about the symptoms of intestinal damp-heat?

1. Cause: Intestinal damp-heat syndrome refers to internal accumulation of damp-heat, which blocks the intestines, with abdominal pain, sudden diarrhea such as watery dysentery with pus and blood, yellow, thick and foul-smelling stools, and symptoms of damp-heat as the main manifestations. It is also known as large intestine damp-heat syndrome. This disease is mostly caused by the invasion of the intestines by the dampness, heat and toxicity of summer and autumn; or by improper diet, eating rotten and unclean food, and the accumulation of dampness, heat and filth in the colon.

2. Symptoms : fever and thirst, abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhea with pus and blood, tenesmus, or sudden watery diarrhea, or uncomfortable diarrhea with yellow, thick and foul-smelling feces, burning sensation in the anus, short and yellow urine, red tongue, yellow and greasy tongue coating, and slippery and rapid pulse.

3. Prevention: Enterovirus is mainly transmitted through fecal, oral or respiratory droplets. It can also be transmitted through contact with the patient's skin and mucous membrane herpes fluid. Various oxidants (potassium permanganate, bleaching powder, etc.), formaldehyde, and iodine can inactivate viruses. During the season when enterovirus is prevalent, parents should try to reduce the number of children going to public places, especially to epidemic areas where the infection has already broken out; strengthen children's personal hygiene, wash hands frequently, and regularly use soap and 84 disinfectant to disinfect daily necessities, toys, and diapers; boil and disinfect milk containers and tableware; expose clothes and bedding to the sun and keep the room ventilated; pay attention to food hygiene, do not drink raw water or eat raw or cold food; breastfeeding mothers should take a bath and change clothes frequently, and clean nipples before feeding; when someone in the family is infected with enterovirus, they should be properly isolated to reduce the chance of infection; if a child has symptoms such as fever or rash, remember to go to a regular hospital as soon as possible. Children who are sick should stop going to kindergarten or school to avoid infecting others.
