What is sweating all day?

Exercise can make our bodies healthier, and even proper exercise can improve diseases. Sweating during exercise is also a good thing. It can excrete toxic substances and is normal. But what is the disease that causes sweating all day long? That is to say, you can still sweat even if you don't exercise. In this case, you need to consider the problem of disease, which is mostly related to sub-health of the body, such as night sweats, hyperthyroidism, etc.

1. Why do you always sweat?

Sweating all the time is both a normal and an abnormal phenomenon. The normal phenomenon is that when we eat, there are many sensory organs on our tongue, and when we sense the food, we will increase the amount of sweating, especially when we eat very hot and very irritating food, it is easier to increase the amount of sweating. If we are under a strong state of stress or in a negative mood, we will sweat because of our mental state at the time. Another situation is that a certain part of the body sweats, such as the palms and soles of the feet. These phenomena may cause sweating due to genetics or temperature. If you are in any of the situations mentioned above, don't worry too much, as these are all very normal physiological manifestations.

2. Reasons for the significant increase in body sweating

1. Be alert to blood sugar fluctuations

If you are a diabetic, you need to pay more attention to your sweating. In addition to some external factors, if your sweating suddenly increases significantly while eating, there may be a problem with your pancreas. This is because after eating a large amount, the pancreas will secrete a variety of digestive enzymes. If it is obstructed or affected by other factors, it will affect the secretion of insulin, causing blood sugar abnormalities, which in turn will easily lead to increased sweating, accompanied by palpitations, dizziness, and fatigue. These symptoms all indicate that blood sugar has fluctuated significantly, and you need to go to the hospital for examination in time to avoid complications of diabetes.

2. Be alert to hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism means that the thyroid gland is overactive. If there is an abnormality in the thyroid gland and too much thyroid hormone appears during the synthesis and release process, the sympathetic nerves will be in an excited state, which may lead to excessive sweating. At the same time, there will be palpitations, heat intolerance, etc. These are all precursors to hyperthyroidism and you need to go to the hospital for examination in time.

3. Be alert to night sweats

If the amount of sweating increases significantly when you sleep at night, and in severe cases, even the clothes you wear are soaked, in addition to the influence of the external environment, you should pay attention to sweating as a disease and never ignore it.
