Hands represent a person's inner beauty, so the beauty of hands directly affects a person's temperament, and the beauty of nails is the most important part of the hands. However, many people's work can cause damage to their nails, and they may accidentally develop onychomycosis, which will not only affect their appearance but also cause psychological disorders for patients. Therefore, it is necessary to understand some symptoms of onychomycosis and carry out prevention and treatment as early as possible. Onychomycosis is also called onychomycosis, which is mainly a disease caused by dermatophytes entering our nail plate or under the nail. Onychomycosis is mainly caused by dermatophyte infection. This disease is quite common in life. Symptoms can vary depending on the type. There are two common types of nail fungus: ① Fungal leukonychia (superficial white onychomycosis). In this type, the lesions are limited to a piece of the nail surface or its tip; ② Subungual fungal disease is divided into distal lateral type, proximal subungual type and superficial white type. In this type, the lesions start from the sides or distal end of the nail, and then infection occurs under the nail plate. The symptoms of onychomycosis include: 1. Subungual onychomycosis It often starts from the sides or ends of the nail plate, and usually starts with mild paronychia, which then gradually becomes chronic or subsides. Paronychia can cause pits or grooves on the nail surface, which may persist or gradually involve the nail root. Once the nail plate becomes infected, it may develop cracks, become brittle, or thicken and appear brown or black. This type is common. Due to the deposition of keratin and debris under the nail, the nail becomes loose and becomes cloudy and thickened. 2. Fungal leukonychia (superficial white onychomycosis) It is one or more small turbid areas on the surface of the deck with irregular shapes. They can gradually spread to the entire deck, causing the nail surface to soften and sink. There are no symptoms, no paronychia, and desquamation is often seen in the skin of the nail bed folds. 3. Onychomycosis caused by Candida albicans It is more common in housewives, cooks and people who often come into contact with water. It is often accompanied by paronychia, which starts from the nail folds on both sides and may cause skin redness, swelling, pus accumulation and tenderness. The nearby nail becomes dark, rises, and separates from the nail bed underneath, and then the entire nail plate is affected. Onychomycosis is extremely easy to spread, especially through the change of shoes of relatives and friends, contact with hands and feet, and public daily necessities. Therefore, people should pay attention to changes in nails in time and understand the symptoms of onychomycosis. If infected with onychomycosis, do not panic, but seek treatment in time to prevent it from spreading to family members. You should use independent daily toiletries at home. Even if you are infected, do not use medication on your own. You should go to a regular hospital for relevant examinations and actively receive treatment. |
