What are the effects and functions of sea snakes

The sea snake is the first animal to live in the ocean. The meat of this snake is edible and tastes very delicious. The internal organs, meat and skin of this snake can also be used as medicine. There are records of sea snakes being used as medicine in the Tang Dynasty in my country. Sea snakes have the effect of dispelling wind and dampness, promoting blood circulation and activating collaterals, and can also nourish and strengthen the body. Friends who suffer from numbness of the limbs or joint pain can use sea snakes to treat them. Let’s introduce the effects and functions of sea cucumbers.

Sea snake knowledge introduction: It is a subfamily of the family Elapidae in the order Snake. Similar to the subfamily of cobras, they are venomous snakes with front grooved teeth. The tail is flattened like a paddle, and the rear part of the trunk is also slightly flattened. This subfamily has 13 genera and 38 species. They are distributed in warm oceans from the Persian Gulf in the west to Japan in the east and to Australia in the south, but there are no sea snakes in the Atlantic Ocean. Sea snakes are also called "green-ringed sea snakes" and "spotted sea snakes". They belong to the class Reptilia and the family Hydrophiidae. It is a reptile that lives in the ocean.

Dried sea snake: A comparative analysis of the chemical composition of sea snakes such as the blue-ringed sea snake, long-nosed sea snake, and sea viper with land snakes such as the Acuta acutus and the golden-flowered snake revealed that the nitrogen content of sea snakes is as high as 9.94%, 1.03% more than that of land snakes, the fat content is 0.53% higher than that of land snakes, and the total amount of amino acids is 5.2% higher than that of land snakes. Among them, the essential amino acids lysine, threonine, leucine, and isoleucine are all more than 16% higher than that of land snakes. And it proves that the native medicine of sea snakes is safe and non-toxic. Zhou Shaoxiong and other researchers studied the nutritional components of ethanol extracts of four common sea snakes, including the blue-ringed sea snake, and found that they contained 19 kinds of amino acids, with relatively high levels of arginine, glutamic acid, valine and lysine. They also contained rich content of trace elements such as 8-lysine monoxide, Zn, Cu, Fe, and macro elements such as Ca, K, and Na.

In fact, when sea snakes are used as a medicine, what we often see is dried sea snakes. This Chinese medicine is very precious. It can promote and improve the body's microcirculation, enhance people's memory, and improve the body's immune function. Dried sea snakes can nourish qi and blood, and strengthen muscles and bones. Not only that, sea snake gall has the effects of promoting qi and resolving phlegm, as well as clearing the liver and improving eyesight.
