How to treat simple pityriasis? Use medication according to the condition

Simple pityriasis is a common skin disease. Generally speaking, this disease is more common in children. Western medicine is very effective in treating this disease. Vitamin B drugs have a good effect in alleviating the condition. You can use them under the guidance of a doctor.

Pityriasis simplex is a chronic skin disease characterized by superficial dry scaly hypopigmentation on the face with mild or absent inflammation. It mainly affects children, often on the face, and occasionally on the trunk and limbs. The disease is more common in spring, but also occurs in early summer and winter.

The disease is fairly common and the symptoms are mild.

Simple pityriasis lesions are one or several round or oval, coin-sized patches, which are lighter in color than the surrounding normal skin, pale in color, dry on the surface, and attached with a small amount of fine grayish white scales. Basal inflammation is mild or absent. The lesions may gradually expand, and adjacent ones may merge with each other. The patient may feel slight itching or have no symptoms. The lesions are prone to occur on the face, especially the cheeks and forehead, and can also be seen on the neck, trunk and limbs. The lesions may subside naturally, leaving mild hypopigmentation. The disease progresses slowly, lasting several months to a year. After the scales subside, the white spots may persist for more than a year. The disease is more common in children or adolescents, occurring more frequently in spring, but can also be seen in early summer and winter.

Western medicine treatment of simple pityriasis

The disease is self-limiting, and the main purpose of treatment is to shorten the course of the disease and treat the symptoms.
