What hot flashes feel like

When your body feels hot, the easiest way is to take off some clothes. If that doesn't work, eat some cold food, so that the feeling of heat can be completely eliminated. However, for some patients with fever, the heat in the body still needs to be relieved through some treatment methods. If necessary, some antipyretic drugs can be chosen, which are very effective. So, what does a hot flash feel like?

Hot flashes refer to false heat, which is generally a symptom of Yin deficiency fever. The fever is not high, but seems to be coming from the bones. Imagine the feeling of a steamer. Hot flashes refer to the type of heat that comes and goes, just like the tide. It is not necessarily related to dampness, but generally refers to Yin deficiency. Especially the typical symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis.

The following dietary prescriptions are recommended to nourish Yin and regulate the spleen and stomach:

(1) Raw Rehmannia glutinosa porridge: 150 ml of raw Rehmannia glutinosa juice (or 150 ml of concentrated juice from dried Rehmannia glutinosa), 100 g of rice. Cook rice into porridge, add Rehmannia juice when the porridge is cooked, stir well and eat.

(2) Asparagus porridge: 60 grams of asparagus and 100 grams of rice. Fry the asparagus into a thick juice, remove the residue, add it to rice and cook into porridge, and eat it for breakfast.

(3) Lily porridge: 50 grams of fresh lily, 100 grams of rice, and an appropriate amount of rock sugar. First, cook the rice into porridge. When it is almost cooked, add the lily and cook until done. Season with rock sugar before eating. If there are no fresh lilies, you can use 30 grams of dried lily powder and cook it with rice into porridge.

Pay attention to the following in life:

(1) Moderate sexual life. Generally, Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire are caused by loss of Yin essence.

(2) Avoid eating warm and dry fruits and condiments, such as lychee, longan, durian, mango, star anise, pepper, cinnamon, etc. Also avoid eating high-fat, high-calorie greasy foods. It is better to avoid eating food from McDonald's and KFC.

(3) Avoid stimulating beverages such as coffee. You can drink less green tea. You can also quench your thirst with mung bean soup at ordinary times, but mung beans are cold in nature, so people with weak spleen and stomach and diarrhea should avoid it.

(4) Eat less for dinner.
