Why does my neck hurt after drinking?

Some patients with cervical spondylosis will experience symptoms of cervical pain after drinking. In fact, there is a reason for this. The main reason is that drinking will cause adverse stimulation to the cervical spine, which will cause blood circulation disorders and pain in the morning. In addition, some experts believe that long-term drinking may lead to osteoporosis, which is also an important cause of cervical spondylosis. Therefore, it is best for patients to quit drinking.

Why does my neck hurt after drinking?

In clinical diagnosis, there are often examples that drinking alcohol can accelerate the occurrence of cervical spondylosis. However, there is currently no strong evidence to prove that drinking alcohol can cause cervical spondylosis. However, many experts believe that long-term drinking can induce osteoporosis and eventually induce cervical spondylosis.

In the clinical diagnostic data of cervical disc herniation, it was found that long-term drinkers are much more likely to suffer from cervical spondylosis than non-drinkers. Therefore, although there is no scientific evidence to prove that long-term drinking will directly lead to the disease, it can be seen from the data that there is a certain logic that drinking can cause cervical spondylosis, and drinking does have a certain relationship with the occurrence of cervical spondylosis.

Here, experts remind everyone that we must prevent cervical spondylosis in daily life and work. First of all, friends with cervical spondylosis should quit drinking or reduce drinking to reduce the chance of drinking causing cervical spondylosis. Don't seek temporary happiness and cause pain, which will affect your normal work and health in life.

The method is: ① Stretch your neck as straight as possible, look forward, and keep your head in the middle; ② Keep your head up, chest out, and abdomen contracted, and do deep breathing exercises; ③ Spread your feet apart, the distance between your shoulders, and place them flat on the ground; ④ Cross your hands behind your back, half-clench your fists, stretch your arms as straight as possible, and press down; ⑤ If you feel uncomfortable in your head and neck, you can only move it slightly forward and backward, left and right, and it is best not to do rotational exercises; ⑥ After finishing, jog or march on the spot for 5 minutes. (4) Massage and Tui Na: ① Use an electric massager to massage your neck and related acupoints; ② Self-rub and massage the tense areas of the cervical vertebrae and cervical muscles; ③ Family members help with acupoint massage or rotation massage, which is very helpful in the early stages. The technique should be gentle, allowing the patient to fully relax his neck muscles, and be careful to avoid accidents. If the condition does not improve after repeated massage, you should stop so as not to aggravate the condition.
