What can you eat to detoxify arsenic poisoning?

Poisoning is a common problem in life, especially food poisoning, which has the greatest impact and can threaten people's lives at any time. Therefore, food poisoning must be taken seriously. For example, arsenic poisoning is a common symptom, and the probability of this situation occurring in life is relatively high. Let's take a look at what to eat to detoxify arsenic poisoning? I hope everyone can understand.

Arsenic poisoning is mainly caused by arsenic compounds. Trivalent arsenic compounds are more toxic than pentavalent arsenic. Among them, poisoning by arsenic trioxide (commonly known as arsenic) is the most toxic. Poisoning can occur by oral administration of 0.01 to 0.05 g, and the lethal dose is 0.76 to 1.95 mg/kg. Arsenic compounds can also be absorbed through the skin or wounds and cause poisoning. Long-term exposure to arsenic compounds can cause chronic poisoning. Workers who smelt arsenic-containing ores, manufacture alloys, glass, ceramics, printing and dyeing, and produce arsenic-containing medicines and pesticides, as well as those who take arsenic-containing medicines for a long time, can all suffer from arsenic poisoning. Excessive arsenic content in drinking water can cause endemic arsenic poisoning.

1. It is advisable to drink mung bean soup after arsenic poisoning.

2. In terms of diet, avoid foods that damage the liver. You can eat a light diet and eat more blood-enriching foods, such as dates, animal livers, etc., and foods rich in vitamins and antioxidants.

Notice:

In our daily diet, seaweed, scallops, shrimps and other seafood also contain high levels of arsenic. Therefore, the intake of seafood in our diet should be controlled. If you eat a lot of seafood, try not to drink fruit juice. Eliminate patients' anxiety and pessimism. Encourage patients more and give them confidence.

Chronic arsenic poisoning can be treated with 10% sodium thiosulfate injected intravenously to assist renal excretion. Skin or mucous membrane lesions can be applied externally with 2.5% diisopropyl alcohol ointment or dexamethasone ointment. When delayed polyneuropathy occurs, symptomatic treatment is given.
