Is bleeding a miscarriage?

The most important issue for women after they become pregnant is to avoid miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy. However, due to various reasons, some pregnant women may experience bleeding problems, which needs to be taken seriously. However, there should be a difference between bleeding and miscarriage, because blood clots are sometimes caused by problems with the pregnant woman herself. So does bleeding mean miscarriage?

Does bleeding mean miscarriage?

The general sign of miscarriage is the presence of blood clots. The main symptoms of threatened miscarriage are: 1. irregular small amount of vaginal bleeding; 2. dull pain or heaviness in the lower abdomen. However, in the case of threatened abortion, the cervix has not opened, the fetal membranes have not ruptured, and the products of conception have not been expelled. After rest and treatment, if the bleeding stops or the abdominal pain disappears, the pregnancy can continue. If the bleeding increases or the abdominal pain worsens, it may develop into inevitable abortion. If the amount of bleeding is heavy, it is not recommended to continue to preserve the fetus. It may be that the fetus itself is not developing well. It is recommended to let nature take its course to avoid forcibly preserving the fetus, which may cause defects after birth.

Can the bleeding clot be saved?

Abnormal vaginal bleeding may indicate miscarriage. If you plan to have a baby, it is recommended that you first use pregnancy preservation treatment, pay attention to rest, avoid fatigue, and go to the hospital for a follow-up check one week later. If the embryo bud and fetal heart rate are found during the follow-up check, it is normal. If the embryo bud and yolk sac are not well developed, it is probably not worth preserving the embryo. It is best to do a uterine curettage. If the amount of bleeding increases abnormally, miscarriage may occur. Threatened abortion is accompanied by blood clots, and HCG and progesterone levels need to be monitored. In addition, rest and hemostasis treatment are required. It can only be said that there is a possibility of saving the baby. It is recommended to pay attention to rest, stabilize emotions, and stay in bed.

During pregnancy, pregnant mothers must pay close attention to the secretions of the reproductive system, its color and smell, etc. If there is anything abnormal, seek medical attention in time and do not be shy to express it, so as to avoid irreversible consequences.
