Pregnancy rate after intrauterine adhesion surgery

Pregnancy rate after intrauterine adhesion surgery

Endometrial trauma is the main cause of intrauterine adhesions, which can also be caused by infection, maternal transmission and other factors. The symptoms of intrauterine adhesions are generally menstrual disorders, abdominal pain, infertility, etc. Hysteroscopic treatment is currently the most effective treatment for intrauterine adhesions, and laparotomy can also be used. There are five degrees of intrauterine adhesion, and the proportions of the five degrees are getting more and more serious. It is possible to get pregnant after surgery for intrauterine adhesions, but the speed of pregnancy depends on the patient's personal recovery level.

Intrauterine adhesions can cause damage to the uterine membrane and reduce the volume of the uterus, which will affect the normal implantation of the embryo and lead to female infertility. If hysteroscopy or laparoscopy is used to clear the adhesions in the pelvic cavity or for radiographic treatment, it is very effective in restoring the function of the fallopian tubes. After hysteroscopy and separation treatment, pregnancy is possible with a 30 to 50 percent chance of pregnancy. Therefore, if intrauterine adhesions are treated thoroughly, the pregnancy rate will be higher.

Five degrees of intrauterine adhesion

1.1 degree : There are multiple fibrous adhesions in the uterine cavity, and the uterine horns and fallopian tube openings on both sides are normal.

2. Grade II: There are dense fibrous bundles adhesions between the anterior and posterior walls of the uterus, and the uterine horns and fallopian tube openings on both sides are visible.

3. Grade III: Fibrous adhesions lead to partial closure of the uterine cavity and one side of the uterine cornu.

4. Grade IV: Fibrous adhesions cause partial closure of the uterine cavity and both uterine corners.

5. VA: Scarring of adhesion bands causes extreme deformation and narrowing of the uterine cavity.

Treatment of intrauterine adhesions

1. Drug treatment, using Chinese medicine intraperitoneal perfusion therapy, targeting the characteristics of intrauterine adhesions, using high-tech, applying the traditional Chinese medicine dialectical treatment, and combining with unique Chinese medicine prescriptions to promote the absorption and disappearance of inflammation.

2. Surgical treatment, using hysteroscopic technology. The application of hysteroscopy in clinical practice can solve some difficult gynecological diseases intuitively, simply and safely. Hysteroscopic treatment of intrauterine adhesions can not only determine the degree and type of adhesions, but also determine the toughness of adhesions.

3. Physical therapy: relieve patients' mental concerns, enhance their confidence in treatment, increase nutrition, exercise, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and improve the body's resistance.

4. Hysteroscopic therapy. The application of hysteroscopy in clinical practice can solve some difficult gynecological diseases intuitively, simply and safely. It can not only determine the degree and type of adhesion, but also the toughness of the adhesion. Membranous adhesions and fibromuscular adhesions can be separated under hysteroscopy or removed with surgical scissors; while dense connective tissue-like adhesions require electroresection under B-ultrasound monitoring, and an intrauterine contraceptive device is placed after the operation to prevent re-adhesion, and continuous estrogen and progesterone are given to promote endometrial growth. It helps patients to resume menstruation and some of them can become pregnant again.

Postoperative care for intrauterine adhesions

1. It is recommended to rest more and avoid overwork;

2. You must eat a low-salt, low-fat, high-vitamin diet, quit smoking and drinking, and avoid eating raw, cold, spicy, and greasy foods;

3. Do not have sexual intercourse within one month. If the intrauterine adhesion is not serious, you do not need to use an IUD to prevent adhesion again after the separation is filed.
